Aspen, Colorado (CO) is home to a number of exceptional ski resorts and features some truly spectacular mountain scenery and many summer activities. Aspen has many world-class tourist attractions, including superb skiing facilities on Aspen Highlands - a favorite skiing location for locals, with ski runs that are usually less crowded than other ski resorts; Ajax Mountain - the original ski area offering over 70 challenging ski runs catering for intermediate and advanced skiers; Buttermilk - aimed at snowboarders and beginners, with 42 trails and one of the longest terrain parks in the world; and Snowmass - the largest skiing resort, offering a vast range of terrain to suit all levels.
